Privacy policy
Effective September 20, 2026
The short version: we collect what we need to build your site, bill you and answer you. We do not sell personal information. We do not run advertising trackers on this website.
1. Who we are
Goodword is a trade name of DIAM General Services, LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This policy covers goodwordweb.com, the preview sites we publish at addresses ending in goodwordweb.com, and the websites we host for our customers.
2. Information we collect
- Public business information. To build a preview, we gather information a business has already made public: its name, phone number, address, services, service area, hours, public licence numbers, and public reviews from listings such as Google Business Profile.
- Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, business details, photos and other material you send us by email, text or phone.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details directly. We receive your name, email, billing status and the last four digits and type of your card. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Server logs. Our servers record the date and time of each request, the page requested, the visitor's IP address and the browser type. We use these logs to keep the service secure and to see whether a preview link was opened.
- Your customers' contact details. When a business on the Site + Reviews plan asks us to send a review request, it gives us that customer's name and mobile number. When a caller is missed, we receive the caller's number. We use these only to send the messages the business asked for, on its behalf.
- Chat assistant messages. On customer sites with the chat assistant, we collect what a visitor types, including any name, phone number and job details they choose to give, so that we can pass the message to the business.
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
3. How we use information
- To build, host and maintain websites and previews.
- To contact a business about a preview we built for it.
- To bill for plans and handle refunds.
- To answer questions and provide support.
- To keep our systems secure and prevent abuse.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Stripe, for payment processing.
- Cloudflare, which delivers our sites and sees visitor IP addresses as a result.
- Our server hosting providers.
- Google, which serves the fonts used on our sites and sees visitor IP addresses as a result.
- Our text messaging carrier, which delivers review request and missed-call texts.
- The AI model provider that powers the chat assistant, which processes chat messages in order to answer them.
Messages that visitors send through a customer's website are passed to that customer. We also disclose information where the law requires it.
5. Calls and text messages
We send review request and missed-call texts on behalf of the businesses we serve, and every such message names the business it comes from. We may also call or text a business at its publicly listed business number about a website preview we built for it. If you reply STOP to a text, or tell us by phone or email not to contact you, we stop, and we take the preview down on request.
6. How long we keep information
- Previews that are not approved are taken down, and we delete the related working files within 90 days.
- Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
- Customer account and billing records are kept for as long as you are a customer and afterward for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
7. Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you or your business, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If we built a preview for your business and you want it removed, tell us and we remove it. Write to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
8. Security
All our sites are served over encrypted connections. Access to our servers is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected people of a data breach as the law requires.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. We email customers about material changes.
